Privacy statement E-waste Race

The E-waste Race asks you to provide your name, contact details and other personal information. We also collect information about the use of our site. In this privacy statement we explain what we do and why.

Providing Personal Information

The E-waste Race is personal, you are who you say you are. When registering, we ask for your name and e-mail address.

If you want to offer electronic waste for collection, we also ask for your address and place of residence.

Registered participants who participate in the collection of electronic waste will ONLY see your address details and the item you have offered, that's all. This is necessary in order to be able to collect the electronic waste that you offer at home.

In addition, the E-waste Race keeps track of those who have submitted electronic waste. We only use this information to show relevant overviews. The E-waste Race keeps this data securely and does not share it with any third parties.

In case of abuse or problems, we can use or hand over this data to the Justice Department. The items you want to offer for collection are listed on the site, including your address details. Only users of participating schools (or other participating institutions) can see this data. Always use common sense and don't mention things you consider private.

Collection of visitor information

The E-waste Race collects general visitor data, such as place of origin and which items have been offered.

We use this data for statistical analyzes of the items on offer per region. We do not link this data to the personal information mentioned above.

Email contacts

If you send us an e-mail, the data you send us will be kept as long as the content of your e-mail is necessary for the complete answering and processing thereof.
